Job Specification

You will be responsible for building out the financial management and reporting structure of our company. You will report to senior management to plan long term business tasks and projects whilst working closely with both our flight operations and sales teams on a daily basis to support the front office operation. With rapid growth planned ahead we are looking for someone with the appetite and ambition to grow with us.

What you will be doing

  • Weekly book keeping and reconciliation to accounts across 3 currency accounts (GBP,USD,EUR)

  • Management of high value airline invoices and cash flow management

  • Processing of Supplier invoices / Reconciliation thereof

  • Issuing of customer invoices. Credit control and management of payment schedules across customer accounts

  • Responsible for staff and management expenses

  • Responsible for payroll run of company and liaising with HMRC.

  • Responsible for petty cash float

  • Monthly cashflow forecasting

  • Responsible for month-end closure and preparation of monthly management accounts to include Cashflow, P&L, Balance sheet together with all variances on budget

  • Setting of monthly budgets together with management guidance

  • Responsible for daily general admin tasks of the office to include office staff holiday management

  • Setting, amending and managing business models with senior management guidance

  • Managing monthly VAT returns

Experience Required

  • Accountancy qualifications (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or be newly qualified

  • 4+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

  • Experience using Xero or equivalent accounting software

  • Previous experience of working in a high growth tech company would be beneficial

  • You must be calm whilst working under pressure and have a high attention to detail

  • You will be highly organised and able to manage time effectively

Salary

  • £29,000 - £36,000 per year
